The play DON’T LEAVE ME NOW explores the impact of early onset dementia on two very different families. Rachel Dixey, Professor of Health Promotion at Leeds Metropolitan University, cared for her partner with dementia for seven years. Cindy Toulman visited her husband in his care home every day for ten years.

Playwright Brian Daniels was inspired by these two real life stories to write DON’T LEAVE ME NOW. With authenticity, insight and humour Brian Daniels weaves the strand of these stories together to create a documentary style play highlighting the emotions, dilemmas and challenges experienced by the people affected by dementia.
