The play’s the thing
Wherein I’ll catch the conscience of the king
(Shakespeare: Hamlet Act 2, Scene 2)
In this seminar, Polly Wright will turn the spotlight on the dynamic between art and audience, and examine how that relationship can have a positive effect on health. Through case studies and reflection, she will explore the educational impact of theatre on health professionals; the social and emotional effect of reading on the wellbeing of service users and the role drama can play as a qualitative research method in health and social care.
