On Saturday November 7th at the Heath Bookshop in Kings Heath, Birmingham. Polly Wright will be reading extracts from some of her work alongside Alan Beard, the acclaimed Birmingham-based short story writer (‘irresistible’, Nicholas Royle; ‘luminous’, Sunday Times) who will be reading from his collection Afternoon Drinking (Floodgate 2025) and Rob Ganley, who like Polly is a member of the Tindal Street Fiction Group.
